Zazzy Christmas everyone, only 1 sleep to go!

Like most years this christmas week as been a busy one for me, for this time of year Zaz becomes more of an Elf clown for the occasion. This week I have been lucky enough to find myself doing what I do best in some fantastic locations like HMS Wellington on the thames, an awesome purpose built stage at Westfield, quite a few city firm boardrooms, I wonder if some of the younger children think that their parents place of work is always that exiting with face painters on hand & master balloon sculptures and all the magic that goes into creating a good children’s party or event.                                              Tuesday morning (thankfully the sunniest day of this week)                     I performed for some very lucky kids way up high in the BT Tower. The view of london was great & this may be my tallest gig yet! Sunday’s Highlight was helping with the huge B&HFC young seagulls xmas party. I think this is the 5th time I have been invited, this year we hosted the family performance area with a mix of shows and circus skills in between. click here for the photos Well done to all the kids, Mums & Dads that had a go! it was fun!IMG_1048zazzychristmas_colour

Havant Multicultural festival free family event in Hampshire this sat!

A little rest after getting back home from Electric picnic in Ireland, this Sat sees us providing circus skills & family entertainment at the Havant multicultural festival. If your in Hampshire bring the whole family, its FREE! Electric Picnic was tiring but fantastic, it Irelands version of glastonbury festival. They too understand just how important it is for music festivals not only to be safe but to inspire children! Children can join the whole festival and see the bands & Djs even Fossets Circus were there, but have their own exclusive field the Soul Kids field. Here face painting flows on to every face, parents are relaxed, & kids fun is a priority. In the performance tent I was joined by some great kids acts from kids Yoga, book signing & reading – drama workshops and ending each day the Awesome Kids disco by father & daughter top Dj’s. I also met some young clown wannabes, quite a few kids that could already unicycle & Yes Its true Irish kids also think Clowns ARE Cool!      for some more pics click here

Yay! Zippo’s circus is back in Brighton!

Zippo’s circus visits town again!  Zippo & all the circus stars have put up the Bigtop tent by the seaside lawns in Hove (Nr king alfred centre) it really does look fantastic at night all beautifully lit up with lights. Families & friends that want to see the amazing new show, daily shows running from now until Tuesday 28th August.  for more info see Zippos circus website

I will be going on my day off! See you there….

2013 – New beginnings for next season, Zaz launches Circus PaZaz “little” BigTop

2013 – fantastic new beginnings for Zaz & friends.  Good friend & master Clown Fred from Fred’s flying circus has chosen to pass down his beloved little bigTop tent! This is a wonderful thing for us both as I first met & watched Fred’s fantastic shows as a young child back in the 80’s. Next week we will be launching the new Circus PaZaz website. Over the winter months not only will Mrs Zaz be giving birth to our first child, (lets hope baby Zaz likes clowns!) We will be planning the new team for school fundraising shows, this has proved to be a truly magical experience that both kidz, parents & teachers will remember for years to come!  Many schools will be pleased to know Fred will be very much still involved, as frankly we need his circus knowledge & Henry the mind reading dog is Top security for the camp! I am delighted to work with Fred in next season shows & with his encouragement & support we are happy to continue this tradition in uk schools. In addition, we will continue to provide the ever popular Kidz area/zone perfect for family friendly festival & events, “have a go Circus skills” both indoors in the little bigTop & out on the grass with colourful mini circus, really is the perfect place for all ages to play & practice many circus skills.  Watch this space for the new website coming soon….

great event feedback for Zaz’s family showolympic

nice feedback from last weeks bike race event in Surrey….
The entertainers made the event extra special. I think at one point there were more people watching ZAZ the clown on stage than watching the Olympic race on the big screen!

some pics from last sat @dromosfestival in horsham park

Last saturday was part 2 of the Dromos free youth arts festival. The Sun shone all day for circus workshops in Horsham park. Great circus skills from the kidz, we met one little girl from Germany who’s family just moved to the UK, she was very pleased to show me & Clever Kev her Unicycle riding, age 7 she has now learnt to unicycle on her own! her parents said that she “just wanted to learn” & has! Lets hope she will now buy her own unicycle to practice on because young OR old Unicycling is So good for fitness & fun! Also we had a fantastic kidz drumming workshop by great kidz musical teacher Ollie Heath from Rhythm Masters its always nice to see the mini circus used for different kids activities. We hope to help with Dromos again next year it really is a great local free festival!
