About Zaz
Clown Zaz has been entertaining kidz & families since he was a kid himself! with over 30 years experience, he has entertained & helped to make many happy memories for families, children and adults both here and abroad.
Matt first started Clowning at a young age when he joined in the Bognor Regis Clown Convention festivals with many other local school children in the 1990’s also spending a large amount of his free time in Butlins Holiday centre, enjoying & performing traditional family entertainment in the children’s theatre often helping Clowns & Circus performers that performed in the town. When Matt was just age 15 he was commended by his local & district councils for his work entertaining locally. In 1993 Zaz was awarded Clowns Internationals Young Clown of the year & later CI Clown of the year in 2007.
Matt spent 10 years living in London performing at many of London’s festivals & family events in parks and in many interesting locations & attractions in the capital city. Overseas, Zaz has taken part in many festivals in Europe & has performed internationally also supporting numerous charities events & school PTA’s as well as children’s birthday & family functions.
In 2009 Matt moved back to the coast to Brighton. He continues to cover Brighton, London & the south coast spreading the clown & circus fun wherever he goes!
In 2011 Matt started started work with fred’s flying circus in a 50ft little bigtop then in 2013 re branded the show into Circus Pazaz little circus fundraising entertainment for schools across the country also providing entertainment for family festivals and events.
At no point during the weekend does Zaz stop smiling. He exudes energy, enthusiasm, joy. The Guardian news paper 17/3/2011.

The Serious Bit. Zaz is a member of Equity & Clowns International is DBS Checked & carries £10M Full Public Liability. Groups of Children must always be accompanied by at least two parents/guardian. Zaz provides family/children’s entertainment and not child care.
